Summer can be a powerful time to slow down, reconnect with your body, and learn more about the biology that shapes your fertility and hormones.

One of the things I often remind my patients is this: Understanding your body changes the way you make decisions about your health.

Whether you’re trying to conceive, navigating IVF, recovering from hormonal birth control, or moving through perimenopause, education matters. Not because information alone “fixes” things, but because clarity creates empowerment.

Below are some of the books and podcasts I frequently recommend to women who want a deeper understanding of fertility, hormones, metabolism, and reproductive health. Happy Reading & listening!

Conversations on women’s health, hormones, fertility, pregnancy, and the deeper root causes influencing long-term wellness.

Why am I sharing these resources with you... Many women spend years being told:

“everything looks normal”, “this is just aging”, “your labs are fine”, or “keep trying”

But hormone health is deeply connected to:

- metabolism
- inflammation
- thyroid physiology
- nutrient status
- nervous system regulation
- sleep
- gut health
- and hormone signaling
The goal is understanding your biology well enough to make more informed, empowered decisions about your next steps.

Whether you’re navigating fertility challenges or hormone shifts in perimenopause, education can become a powerful starting point.

And sometimes, the right book or conversation helps women realize: their symptoms are not random, and their bodies are worth understanding.
